We would like to take a moment and say a huge thank you to both sets of parents and to any other family members who helped out with our kids while we were gone. It was no small thing for them to watch our two small, very active (but adorable) children for 12 days so we could enjoy this amazing adventure.
We are pretty sure that our kids don't want us to come home! It sounds like they are having the time of their lives. They are being spoiled with trips to McDonald's, late bedtimes, new toys and jewelry (Ellie is addicted to jewelry!), trips to the ranch and lots of fun time with cousins and grandparents. What's not to love about that?
We have both been blessed with incredible parents who love us and our kids enough to make this trip possible. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
And don't worry - we will be home soon!
P.S. Did anyone potty train Ellie while we were gone?
